Initially, we encountered difficulties getting the Resemble AI-generated voice to work seamlessly with Twilio’s call flows. There were issues with API integration, particularly around managing voice responses in real-time, resulting in delays and inconsistent behavior. Another hurdle was handling user input through speech recognition, which required careful fine-tuning of speech-to-text processing for accurate results. We overcame these challenges by switching to Twilio’s built-in voice capabilities, Additionally, we fine-tuned the user input handling through Twilio’s voice recognition features and optimized the timing of responses to ensure a smooth conversation flow. This process involved a lot of trial and error, debugging API issues, and refining the flow of interactions, ultimately leading to a more stable and efficient system.
