Scrolling around the web looking for research papers and technical blogs can be a tedious task, especially when most content is partially accessible to students. Through this project, we aspire to create a safe space for students where they can easily read and write technical write-ups. We also incorporated a review feature, which can help students get genuine feedback from professors and seniors. The users would also have the option to join circles wherein they can interact with like-minded peers to expand their horizons.
Offlate, we have seen a decline in fresh and ingenious technical writings, thus by implementing this project, we hope to develop an increased engagemement of students towards writing and researching.
Furthermore, we made this a user-friendly experience with an intuitive interface which provides smooth navigation and ease of access.
To conclude, we have objectively designed a central repository for the students of IGDTUW to explore and contribute to technical writings.
Over the course of this project, we got to learn a lot about designing and graphics. We had to constantly amend our colour schemes and graphics in order to keep the project aesthetically consisitent and visually pleasing.
During Brainstorming, we had to accomodate conflictions in team and had to find a way to collaborate ideas coherently. Also, we had to analyse many websites to understand Good UX v/s Bad UX and likewise implement it so as to achieve a seamless integration of UX with the problem statements and making it compatible with different browsers and devices.
Furthermore, it was a challenge to append many compex ideas in brevity within a small time frame.
We used many technologies for the very first time and this helped us gain experience in graphic designing.
During Design Prototyping we formulated a complete study to know the user preferences , this was backed by a survey that we gave out to the target audience.
