TaskMate

TaskMate

TaskMate is a simple task manager website, built entirely using vanilla html, css, and javascript. It allows users to make a task, check it off, and delete a task too.

The problem TaskMate solves

The problem it solves is helping people organize and manage their tasks more effectively.
The inspiration for this comes from the fact that many people struggle with keeping track of
their to-do lists, prioritizing tasks, and managing their time efficiently. In today's fast-paced
world, there are often too many demands on our time and attention, and it can be easy to
become overwhelmed or forget important tasks. TaskMate could be designed to address
these challenges by providing a simple, user-friendly platform for organizing and managing
tasks. It could include features such as the ability to create and edit tasks, set reminders
and deadlines, categorize tasks by priority or project, and track progress over time. Overall,
the goal of TaskMate is to make it easier for people to stay on top of their to-do lists and
accomplish more in less time.

Challenges we ran into

As we were developing the website, some problems we faced were,
User interface- designing a user-friendly and intuitive interface that allows users to easily
add, edit, and delete tasks. We then decided to keep it simple and minimalistic, to make it
easier for us, and the user to clearly see and focus on the task at hand.
Responsiveness- Although the main website was done, there will be users who would want
to use it from their phones, on the go. So, we had to make the website responsive, so that
it functions properly in all possible cases.
