Crypto was meant to make things open, fun, and innovative, especially for fixing old-school problems with subscriptions and payments—like handling access and managing risks. But most current solutions, like subscription giveaways, are still either manual or custodial, which kinda misses the point.
With self-custody wallets, we’ve got all the tools we need—account abstraction, smart accounts, and session keys—to fix this. That’s where Tapify comes in. We’re making crypto cool and easy by using NFC tech with session keys and smart accounts to create self-custodial voucher and subscription giveaways that are as simple as a tap.
Debugging smart accounts, account abstraction, and session keys can be a real headache, especially on testnets where errors are anything but obvious. To tackle this, we relied heavily on simulations in test environments and wrote plenty of tests for local deployments. Since we’re using NFC tech, testing on actual phones was a must too. That meant carefully planning our deployments well ahead of time to keep things running smoothly when we hit those critical testing stages.
The project was built from scratch although we have used integrations with existing tech such as Base name registrars and audited session key modules.
