The problem Takumi AI Wallet solves
Bringing Stablecoins into Everyday Payments - Onboarding QRIS Users to Stablecoins
People don’t wake up wanting to use crypto.
They wake up needing to top up games, buy mobile data, pay electricity, and send money.
Takumi Wallet is built around everyday payments.
It treats IDRX as digital cash for daily use. One wallet where users can top up games, buy pulsa and data packages, pay electricity tokens, and send money, all without switching apps or dealing with technical complexity.
Takumi focuses on the most frequent, real-world transactions people already make every day. Small payments. Repeated payments. Practical needs. By centering on these utilities, Takumi turns stablecoins into something people actually use, not just hold.
This is how stablecoins move into daily life,
through payments people already make every day.
Takumi makes IDRX part of everyday spending: simple, familiar, and useful.
What’s Next for Takumi Wallet
1. QRIS Open API Integration - Real-World Payments at Scale
Our next milestone is integrating the QRIS Open API, allowing Takumi to operate directly inside Indonesia’s rapidly growing digital payments ecosystem.
With QRIS supporting 50M users, 30M+ merchants, and billions of transactions, this integration enables Takumi users to:
- Pay merchants via QR using stablecoins or local currency
- Top up utilities, buy goods, and pay in-store
- Spend IDRX in real life without bridges or app switching
This step expands Takumi from a utility wallet into a mass-scale daily payment platform.
2. Takumi AI Agent - Natural Interaction & Long-Term Memory
Once daily payments are established, Takumi evolves into an AI-powered payment agent.
Instead of navigating interfaces, users will be able to interact naturally:
“Transfer 2 million IDRX to Pedro.”
“How’s my IDRX balance?”
“Top up my favorite game.”
“Buy my usual data package.”
“Have I paid my electricity this month?”
The AI agent will:
- Look up recipients from the user’s address book
- Remember frequent services, typical amounts, and past payments
- Track balances and spending in IDRX
- Confirm every action clearly before execution
To support this, Takumi will use GraphRAG as its long-term memory system, allowing the agent to understand payment context and improve over time based on real usage.
This transforms Takumi from a payment app into a context-aware financial companion, built around everyday spending and real-life routines.

Challenges I ran into
Integration with the QRIS Open API requires applicants to be a registered legal entity (PT / Perseroan Terbatas) and to complete several formal requirements, including obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB/SIUP) and registering for an NMID (National Merchant ID) through an approved QRIS provider.
At the current hackathon stage, Takumi has not yet established a PT or obtained these regulatory documents, which prevents direct access to the QRIS Open API. This is a regulatory and administrative requirement, not a technical limitation, and is planned as a next step as Takumi moves from prototype to production.
