Problem statement:
We solve these problems by creating a single platform where students can find, register and stay updated on what's happening across the campus so that they don't miss upon any opportunity.
Secondly, we have integrated the platform with the Polygon blockchain and issue a NFT ticket on registering the event. Since NFT is a non fungible, it can help create a more transparent, secure and efficient way to register students. The NFTs can be verified at the entrance. These NFTs are non transferable and one user can get unique NFT.
The platform can also help the societies to get information for all the socities in the campus which further can help them collaborate.
Challenges we faced:
Our team has five member but the problem is most of them are begineers and don't know much about coding. But we all have one thing for sure, team spirit. We decided to break down the problems even further can divide tasks among ourselves depending on their knowledge. For example, two of our teammates only knew basic html, css and js so, they created static pages which were further converted to react code by the more experience team mate.
One of our team mate was better in building AI model, so we ideated why not build a recommendation system. Manik spent hours building the model but unfortunately could not complete in the given timeframe though it was a great learning experience for him.
