Let’s be real—Web3 hiring is wild. The most innovative projects aren’t using traditional hiring boards or long job listings. Instead, they’re dropping job opportunities on Twitter. For job seekers, this is a whole vibe. But it also means you might miss your dream job if you didn’t check Twitter at the right time. And while job hunting in Web2 feels like filling out forms for hours, Web3 is about freedom, fun, and community. So, why is finding a job still such a chore? Why not make it as smooth as finding your next shitcoin?
We’re serious about making the tech behind the fun just as cool:
Smart Contracts for Job Agreements & Payments
In our platform, job agreements and payments are governed by self-executing smart contracts. Here’s how it works:
Job Seeker Initiates Contract: Once a job seeker finds a position that aligns with their skills, they can initiate a smart contract. The job seeker sets a “price” for their work, which is essentially their proposed compensation for the task.
Employer Funds Escrow. Ask us during our pitch!
Funds Release: After both parties agree or after the review period ends, the smart contract automatically releases the funds from escrow to the job seeker. To ensure stability and trust, the payment will be transferred after a 1-month holding period, giving both parties enough time to settle any disputes.
Decentralized Rating System for Companies: This feature revolutionizes how companies in Web3 are rated by utilizing a decentralized, trustless mechanism where job seekers actively contribute to the company's reputation with every swipe.
One of the biggest challenges was figuring how to verify contract on Scroll Sepolia Testnet. Was going to use Remix IDE to deploy build test and deploy, but I found that writing it locally on my machine and using hardhat to manually deploy.
Another limitation is that we only have one Smart Contract Developer who is still new to the entire landscape. But overall, we were able to deploy all contracts and even trained a stable diffusion model and deployed with ora.
