swarmkey solves the problem that there are currently no cool, useful & fully decentralized applications out there...

swarmkey is a p2p marketplace for buying and selling decryption keys for files. this allows creators of digital content (ebooks, videos, photo albums, software, etc..) to sell directly to their following. all a buyer and seller need to transact are:

when a swarmkey user creates a profile, they control their data! it is stored locally, and encrypted back-ups can be published to Swarm --this will allow for future 'cloud back-up' functionality enabling users to share data between devices.
