Swarm KeyDB
Redis with decentralized storage
The problem Swarm KeyDB solves
We created new redis implementation which is more resilient to concurrent drive failures as it is using the decentralized storage Swarm for each instance. Supports all redis interface commands to put, delete, batch operations, pubsub, and lua scripting.
We also created nuget library for resiliancy check of the incomming data from a storage server.
The app is published to the docker hub, and provides helm charts for easy installation to kubernetes.
We also created more tools such as the migration tool from other redis database and many examples in c#, react, node, go and python.
Many use cases are heavily documented such as the deployment, local docker run, or kubernetes deply.
CICD checks for more than 300 tests passing on windows, unbuntu and mac builds and also checks the sdk tests passing in c#, js, go and python.
Challenges we ran into
We enjoyed building and did not struggle with anything. Goal was clear.
