A dynamic survival game where you fight, score, and evolve. Defeat enemies, and etch your legacy on the blockchain.
The problem SurvivalVerse: Hunt for Glory solves
Our game simulates a disaster-struck environment where players collect aid (orbs), fight challenges, and progress through levels. It uses blockchain to store player stats transparently and Groq AI to dynamically adjust enemy difficulty. This models how decentralized tech can improve real-world disaster relief by ensuring fairness, traceability, and smart response.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating Blockchain: Ensuring secure and gas-efficient transactions while updating player stats on-chain.
Real-time Backend Communication: Managing HTTP requests in Godot without blocking gameplay.
AI Integration: Using Groq API to dynamically scale enemy stats and balance gameplay difficulty.
Scene Management: Preventing early player object deletion before sending data.
Environment Setup: Coordinating between Godot (frontend) and Node.js (backend) with environment variables, API calls, and modular project structure.
Git Management: Handling embedded repos and pushing structured code to GitHub for collaboration.
