- Added extensive unit tests to cover all possible betting scenarios
Front-End State Management
- Real-time updates of betting pools created race conditions
- Multiple users betting simultaneously caused UI inconsistencies
- Resolved by implementing an efficient state management system with optimistic updates
- Added websocket connections for instant pool size updates
Security Considerations
- Had to carefully design against potential manipulation of bet outcomes
