The problem Supercash.xyz - Mobile Stablecoin Wallet solves

We are building a self custody authentication and payment service for the majority of people in the world that are not traders, developers, or crypto-natives.

Most would call our application a wallet. However in the past, wallets have been designed to support and swap an intimidating amount of assets on a number of fragmented networks largely for early adopters like traders and developers.

In contrast, our service focuses on one key on one network using one familiar asset. Stablecoins have a strong use case around borderless, global payments since they send and settle much faster and cheaper than alternatives. However, once those funds are available to the recipient, most will look to convert or withdraw to make use of the funds despite the cost of conversion, fees, and challenges in user experience.

Supercash.xyz is a mobile stablecoin wallet that intends to extend the power of this payment case into seamless local payments and growing opportunities to play games, make purchases, and earn rewards with stablecoins.
Whether paying locally at a point of sale terminal, using your laptop computer, gaming on a friend's console, or checking in through kiosks at airports and events, users can easily and securely scan, connect, and execute their transactions from their mobile.

Challenges I ran into

Our application successfully sponsors expensive Ethereum transaction fees for our users using Pimlico's Smart Account Paymaster. This feature is clearly attractive to users since a basic stablecoin transaction on Ethereum can cost between $3 - $7 and requires the operational effort of purchasing and allocating ETH for each transaction. Continuously sponsoring these high Ethereum transaction fees is not financially sustainable for our application in the long term.
We see two potential directions to overcome this challenge while providing a markedly improved solution to users: 1. Charge users for fees in USD at a later time via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card -or- 2. Encourage Paypal to follow Paxos stablecoin support of the Polygon network, which offers considerably lower fees and growing support from online shops and apps in the Ethereum ecosystem: https://paxos.com/stablecoin-payments/
Additionally, it is worth noting that sending PYUSD from Paypal and Venmo for testing was surprisingly difficult for a longstanding verified account. Funds were purchased but were locked from sending. In order to test in production for this hackathon, we bought from Coinbase and transferred in just a few minutes.
