Add your favourite music artists to your onchain identity
The problem Superbadge solves
Blockchain offers powerful technology to create portable digital identities, however easy-to-use UX is needed. Superbadge enables the names of music artists to be individually saved to a wallet, adding essential data to the identity of any music fan, ready to be pulled into new experiences built for music fans onchain. Like proudly pining a badge onto your jacket, Superbadge lets you self-identify as a music fan onchain.
Challenges we ran into
We had to think carefully about how the contract would work, in the end opting to create our own ERC1155 which allows an artist or band name to be submitted when a token is minted. The tokenID is created by hashing the artist name.
