Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was integrating the OCR functionality for image processing. The initial implementation was slow and inaccurate due to limitations with the OCR API, especially when processing images with less clarity. After experimenting with different APIs and refining the image quality before sending it for processing, we were able to significantly improve the speed and accuracy. Additionally, integrating localStorage for saving user data while maintaining performance across sessions was tricky, but optimizing the data flow resolved this issue.
