The problem STUDENT RESULT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SRMS) solves

The project aims to automate semester result management, as it is a system for the management of computerized test results of student examination records. The "Student Result Management System" has been developed to override the problems prevailing in the practicing manual system.
It gives easy to use platform to create, update, delete and display student's academic result. If the data entered is wrong or non existing it shows invalid data, hence it keeps check on the stored data. It saves time which gets wasted when the data is handelled manually. Data will be safe and can be accessed anywhere and anytime whenever required. Keep one updated about their academics like how they are performing and one can get idea about how much he/she has improved and how much more is required. Thus it not only stores your score but can be a guide to improve your exam scores.

Challenges we ran into

The first challenge was to decide on the data structure and design of the system. The system must be designed in such a way that it can store and manage a large amount of data, including student information, marks, and results. The design should be scalable, efficient and easy to maintain. Secondly, equinox was our first codathon so it was quite challenging for us to learn and use new terms like python libraries and applying those in our code to make it effective. It was really a new learning for us which came out of our comfort zone.
