Stud Eeze

Our project (Stud Eeze) is developed to fulfill the needs of students regarding the privacy of study material with added features.

The problem Stud Eeze solves

The main motive of our project 'Stud Eeze' is to enhance our online education system with:

Enhanced communication,
Improved organization,
Sharing notes with non-class mems is prohibited(no screen-shot feature),
One-to-one doubt clarification sessions(agora video calling),
Study materials(teacher can share docs),
Interactive quizzes, and
Excellent privacy features(google sign-in).

WHY STUD EEZE?

This helps in improvising the knowledge acquired by the user (student) which indeed results in their progress.
Teaching process has stayed the same for decades. The traditional teaching and offline education system are plagued with multiple inefficiencies. Our vision at Stud Eeze is to reimagine and evolve the way teaching and learning have been happening for decades. By combining quality teachers, engaging content and superior technology we are able to create a superior learning experience for students and aid in their outcome improvement, which is unlike any offline experience.
Teaching and learning are set to transform at a rapid pace and our mission at Stud Eeze is to accelerate these transformations.

Challenges we ran into

We have created a Stud Eeze app that can change the face of the education system. We plan to add more courses and improvise its features shortly.
The first major problem we faced was to come up with an idea for the hackathon project. Initially, we planned for an environmental app that can control the environment and climate-related crimes. But due to time limit and its less functionality made us drop the idea. Finally, we decided to stick with the theme education and then came up with Stud Eeze app which can make video calls and provide privacy feature that protects app details and material shared by tutors.
The problem we came across executing our plan included providing the video call feature. It was the first time we tried this, so it took a while to figure it out. Next big challenge was to disable the screenshot feature so that material provided by tutors is not shared by students to any other students who are not the part of the app. We had a hard time figuring that out.
Another problem was to establish a connection between flutter and firebase. Since the app has two panels one for student and the other for the teacher, so it took a lot of time to write and manage code for both. It seemed a herculean task to be completed in less time.
We have also created an app launch website Stud Eeze through which users can download the app. It explains the salients features of the app and also contains a submit form which supports feedbacks and new ideas from users. It’ll be appreciated if you could drop a comment too.
It also includes team profiles and social media links. The major problem we faced was to give functionality to the submit form. It nearly took a day to figure it out. We finally merged it with formspree to make it work.
Next big task was figuring out social media icons. We used bootstrap templated to reduce our work. Creating and fixing logo was also a challenge in its own way.
