Here are some problems in existing system:
Since the lockdown, nearly 40% of street vendors are women and 30% are sole-earning members of their families.
Many are putting up their street food stalls, tea stalls, etc. But what keeps them below the limelight?
Many of these women workers are doing these activities primarily, because of their situation to earn money and growth of their economic status.
Women hold up half the sky. They can do anything to set up their worth in front of society. We need to empower them.
Moreover, This informal sector is under the table due to the norms of formal economic sectors like enterprises.
This woman works in every weather condition but does not get enough support from commoners like us. They have their own stories.
During the development of the website, we encountered a number of challenges such as creating a user-friendly UI/UX, integrating JS, React, and the Appwrite API, and implementing voice recognition features using Alan AI.
In order to promote local stores, we had to devise a system for listing stores, and creating a signup and login page using the database.
This required us to ensure compatibility with all major browsers and devices, integrate the Appwrite API into our application, design an easy-to-use user interface, find a reliable voice recognition service provider and integrate their API, and thoroughly test the application. Despite these challenges, the project is now running smoothly.
