The problem StreeCare solves

The app 'StreeCare' seeks to address issues commonly faced by women in rural areas. In such areas, women aren't well educated and hence they are not aware of various issues like safe sanitation methods, family planning, and other health & lifestyle-related issues. The app has a health & lifestyle section which has a great collection of educational content on such issues. Topics like Depression, Breast Cancer, Family planning, etc. have been included. There's a bot 'Sakhi' as well with which women can interact and ask questions about health issues. The bot supports 'Hindi' language and will support more local languages in the future. There is a meetup feature that aims to increase community engagement. Women can organize workshops on stitching, weaving, etc. This way they not only get a chance to teach others what they know but also get to know women around them interested in the same field. In future they can open a local business together for which we have included 'Store' option where women can post about hand-made goods they made and earn some money. In StreeCare women can also look for jobs in their locality and also post jobs if they are running a local business. The app not only solves a lot of problems faced by women in rural areas but also empowers them by educating them and helping them in becoming independent.

We struggled a bit in implementing some features and spent a lot of time debugging the code.
