StreamSyncJJ ensures that all viewers watch live streams in perfect sync, eliminating playback delays and desynchronization. It provides secure, encrypted video streaming and scales efficiently, making it ideal for events, webinars, and interactive broadcasts. Users can also chat in real time, enhancing engagement.
Challenges I ran into
One major challenge was achieving perfect synchronization across multiple viewers. Initial testing showed slight time drifts, so we optimized HLS segment handling and fine-tuned WebSocket-based sync updates. Another hurdle was scalable encrypted storage, which we solved using AWS S3 with CloudFront to distribute content securely and efficiently.
