Platforms like YouTube or TikTok offer internal donation systems, but managing these across multiple platforms is difficult for streamers and viewers because they need many accounts to accomplish support. Each platform locks donations or allows withdrawal when some threshold is met within its ecosystem, making consolidating funds or accessing them efficiently challenging.

Limited Audience Engagement:
Current streaming platforms offer minimal interaction beyond chat, which limits the connection between streamers and viewers

Difficult Setup Processes:
Some solutions require complex setups, discouraging streamers from adopting them.

How does your submission address this challenge?

StreamFund consolidates donations from multiple platforms into a single, easy-to-use dashboard. Streamers no longer need to manage separate internal donation systems from platforms like YouTube or TikTok. This eliminates the hassle of handling fragmented funds, allowing them to receive all donations directly and instantly, regardless of where they stream.

StreamFund goes beyond simple donations by enabling viewers to send personalized messages or questions that appear on the live stream. This feature fosters stronger interaction and deeper engagement, making viewers feel involved and appreciated in real time.

StreamFund uses proven, widely adopted stablecoins like USDT, USDC, and DAI, as well as ETH for donations. Challenges we ran into

Syncing On-Chain and Off-Chain Data:
Keeping data consistent between blockchain transactions and our off-chain systems proved a significant challenge. To overcome this, we implemented event listeners and time-based reconciliation processes to track and sync all transactions in real-time, minimizing discrepancies between the two environments.

Managing High Donation Volume with a Queue System:
Streaming sessions can receive multiple donations simultaneously, and broadcasting them all would overwhelm the stream. We addressed this by building a queue system to process donations sequentially. This solution guarantees that every donor’s message gets appropriate visibility, keeping the stream orderly without compromising engagement.

Simplifying the Process for Streamers and Viewers:
We wanted to avoid creating friction for streamers and viewers by keeping the flow simple and user-friendly. Instead of introducing complex intermediaries, we opted for peer-to-peer (P2P) asset transfers. This approach allows donations to flow directly from viewers to streamers, ensuring fast, seamless transactions without unnecessary delays or complications.
