The problem STRATOS PODS solves
DeFi is full of potential, but it’s not always easy to navigate and comes with risks and challenges. Navigating disparate chains, understanding complex protocols, managing bridge risks, and constantly monitoring yield opportunities requires substantial time, expertise, and risk tolerance.
Stratos solves this by providing a spectrum of AI-managed vault solutions: fully customizable vaults for sophisticated users, pre-configured vaults for simplicity, and social vaults allowing users to invest in strategies managed by others. All options leverage our core AI engine and IBC integration to automatically analyze, deploy, and rebalance assets across the most promising yield sources, delivering optimized, risk-adjusted returns with minimal user intervention and making sophisticated DeFi accessible to everyone.
Challenges I ran into
Complex Stack Integration
Coordinating smart contracts, AI logic, and cross-chain messaging was a major challenge. Timing mismatches between strategy generation and onchain execution—especially over IBC—led to failed transactions during early tests.
To solve this, I modularized each system, added pre-execution validation checks, and introduced sync buffers to better align cross-chain operations.
AI Model Accuracy
The AI sometimes proposed vault strategies that included illiquid tokens, outdated pools, or risky combinations not suitable for certain chains. This resulted in failed executions or underperforming vaults.
I addressed this by introducing a rule-based screening layer to filter AI outputs based on liquidity, protocol status, and asset health. Strategies are now validated in a staging environment using up-to-date onchain data and simulations before they’re deployed live. This greatly improved reliability without slowing down the AI-driven experience.
