The site provides a platform for getting required medication and/or equipments needed to save lives. It works by give and take of medical equipments by people who are not in need of them anymore and people who urgently require them.
Sellers can update data on a daily basis so that the buyer can get the latest information regarding to whom they can reach out to in a case of emergency. People willing to give their stuff to others can choose between options to sell or rent devices for a price or donate them for free. The seller also needs to login with appropriate details to maintain security of the system and the parties involved in the transaction.
On the final day of the hackathon when our site was almost ready we faced a problem where browser was caching data and files and was not reflecting any changes we were making in the source on the localhost server. We tried clearing the browsing data, disabling the cache and browser extensions and also restoring the browser but nothing worked. At last we copied all the files to a new workspace. While deploying our site on heroku, it crashed at first. Then after hours of debugging we finally found the error we were making and shifted the localhost to domain in the axios url. We also faced a problem in adjusting the size of the background image to fit our screen. At the end we had to create a new image for background.
