Traditional bounty programs compromise contributors' intellectual property by requiring them to reveal their solutions. Our project solves this problem by utilizing zero-knowledge proofs, enabling contributors to demonstrate the validity of their solutions without revealing the underlying code, thereby protecting their intellectual property and promoting a more secure and trustworthy environment for bounty programs.
Current Challenge:
A major roadblock in our project is the absence of a zero-knowledge (ZK) based code testing environment or a similar setup. Presently, we're treating this as a black box, but we anticipate that future advancements will yield a viable solution, bridging the gap between ZK proofs and code testing.
Potential Breakthrough:
However, through discussions with peers, we believe that PLONK gates might hold the key to overcoming this challenge. Although we're not yet certain, we're exploring this possibility and its potential to unlock a ZK-based code testing environment.
