The problem Steady solves
Introduction - Steady is targetted towards students of all age suffering with ADHD or any idividual who loses the attention relatively quickly. Working: The students can simply choose their type of ADHD they are suffering from, the goal they want to achieve, and the amount of duration they want to study. Then our app generates a step by step guide on how to achieve the specified task. It also gives the schedule on minute to minute basis with the help of the automated timer that keep track of the task on hand and also helps in facilitating the ways they can overcome their limited attention span. In a nutshell, Steady helps in getting tasks done and helps them step by step instructions and guide them and figure out the goals and be with them all the way with their goals and achievements.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest hurdle was to cover all the variations of ADHD and how to handle all of them. There is so mucuh diversity in everything in this world and we wanted to make something that is inclusive to all of it's users. We took the help of Generative AI to fill in the gaps where our choices ended. Next problem was to figure out the timer duration for different tasks and adhd types. we spent countless hours of research to figure out the best algorithm that takes account into all of the different types of tasks we want to accomplish and devise a time table/schedule to acoomplish that task.
