They're expected to setup a web3 wallet, manage gas fees, share a wallet address with a customer, move stablecoins to an exchange, convert to dollars, and then send it to their bank.
Most get stuck at the first step. And because it doesn’t connect to the payment tools they're already using, accounting becomes a headache.

We make it easy for merchants to accept stablecoins alongside cash and credit card payments.
Merchants sign up with just their email, and they can start taking payments via QR code instantly — no crypto knowledge needed. Meanwhile, customers can pay with any wallet.
We also integrate with their existing tools, like Square, for seamless accounting and convert stablecoins directly to cash in their bank account in 90+ countries.

Challenges I ran into
A major challenge was abstracting away all the crypto complexity so merchants wouldn’t need to worry about wallets, gas fees, or moving funds across different platforms.
We solved this by using smart wallets for seamless sign-up and a paymaster to cover gas on Base, making transactions feel instant and free. Using Coinbase's Offramp API, we were also able to allow merchants to convert to dollars and withdraw to their bank — all without leaving the app.
