The problem SportsNTF solves

The current difficulties with credentials of athletes and clubs (Intrusiveness, verification challenges and record keeping).
For example there are certain sports which have very defined levels, this system of NFT credentials which are handle and given by the Federation will make sure that no athlete or clubs commints fraud and also standarize the good practices of the sports and level .
In the case of another sport like diving which already has global institutions which certifies if like PADI, it would reinforce the security, transparecy and trust. In the main time of simplifying and making all the process easier. And with the technologies of NFTs they could explore in the future the metaverse opportunities.
The advantages for athletes goes from ownership and portability: NFTs grant ownership and control to the certificate holder, to record keeping of the achivements, uniqueness and also opening the door for digital autographs and interactions with their fans in the future.

It will also solve the missed oportunities of monetization for Federations (not verified sports clubs, fraud, mechandisng and auctions of digital collectibles), also giving future oportunities for expansion to Sports Governance and Licensing: NFTs can extend beyond certificates and memorabilia to sports governance and licensing. NFTs can represent ownership rights, licensing agreements, or voting power in sports organizations or associations.

Challenges we ran into

To create a smart contract in ethereum to mint an NFT and to be able to use XDC Network.
Fortunately we managed to mint an NFT. Currently we are still working on sending the NFT from federation user to athlete user.
