The problem SparkAid solves
Decentralizing Aid Registry, In the aftermath of a natural disaster or humanitarian crisis, efficient and transparent aid distribution is crucial to reaching affected populations in a timely manner. However, traditional aid distribution systems may face challenges like inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and potential corruption. So we developed a blockchain-based solution to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of humanitarian aid distribution, ensuring that resources reach the intended recipients effectively.
Challenges we ran into
Connecting our Frontend and Blockchain Backend i.e Smart Contracts to store and fetch the Users Data in the Blockchain
This was one of the major issues to tackle and as there are limited resources on Blockchain we had to spend loads of time on figuring it out. Finally we did it with the help of Combining 2 Libraries namely HardHat and Ethers.js. This enables us to store all the essential data to Blockchain and also we can Fetch it.
Transfer funds from one account to another using Blockchain
To tackle this issue we used a Web3.js Library which helped us to connect our frontend with Metamask and initiate the Transaction.
