This is a soulbound nft degree which is stored on filecoin network. The students can claim the degree and it is non-transferable.
The problem Soulbound Degree on FVM solves
Many people nowadays take fake certificates, university degrees and even online identities. Blockchain can solve this problem by using soulbound tokens. These are tokens or nfts that cannot be transferred and once owned can only be burnt. This project uses the idea of giving university degrees to students that are soulbound nfts and the student can claim them only once and these are stored on filecoin network.
Challenges I ran into
There were many small challenges while working on the project. However, one major hurdle was that I wasn't able to mint the degree because the project was not connected to the blockchain. I solved this problem by editing the contract address and abi.
