Bet on yourself. Get things done

The problem Soul Ledger solves

SoulLedger solves the silent crisis of unrealized potential.
We all have dreams, reflections, and goals — but without accountability, they fade.
SoulLedger fixes that by turning personal growth into an onchain game where you earn tokens, NFTs, and your own money back for getting shit done.
With self-staking, friend duels, and smart task prioritization, we make discipline rewarding, provable, and social — all on Base.
Share your journey to Farcaster as onchain proof of growth
This isn’t just a productivity app.
It’s a new way to bet on yourself — and win.
This is behavioral economics powered by crypto — where your word has value, your progress is provable, and your growth is rewarded

🚀 Key Features

Onchain Notes & Tasks: All data lives on Base — no servers, no backend
Self-Staking Challenges: Lock USDC to commit to goals. Win it back when you succeed.
Friend Duels: Let others bet against you. Lose? They win. Win? You take the pot.
Token & NFT Rewards: Earn $HUS tokens and soulbound NFTs for streaks, reflections, and completion
80/20 Task Engine: AI-inspired logic highlights high-impact tasks
Farcaster Integration: Share wins via Frames: “I just won my $20 bet — #StakeMySoul”
IPFS + Onchain Metadata: Long-form content stored offchain, pointer onchain
Mobile-First, Creative Vibe: Designed for creatives, believers, builders — anyone chasing growth.

🌍 Why This Matters
SoulLedger isn’t just for developers.
It’s for:

Entrepreneurs shipping ideas
Musicians finishing albums
Students staying consistent

Anyone who’s ever said “I’ll do it later…” and never did
It proves that onchain apps can be deeply personal — not just financial or speculative.

And by making growth rewarding, verifiable, and social, we’re building a new culture of self-accountability onchain.

Challenges I ran into

Designing a contract that locks personal funds, tracks task completion, and releases rewards based on streaks and deadlines was complex. What I did: Broke it into modular components—StakeManager, TaskRegistry, RewardEngine—and tested flows using Base Sepolia.

Designing the "Bet On Yourself" Logic
How do you prove someone completed a task — without a central server deciding?"

Challenge:
In self-staking challenges, we can’t trust offchain oracles to verify task completion — that breaks decentralization.

Solution:

User self-reports task completion (trustless by design)
But: they only get rewarded if they staked money → skin in the game
The real incentive isn’t cheating — it’s not wanting to lose their own stake
Tasks are tied to wallets — no fake completions
Optional: future integration with Farcaster frames to "prove" completion socially
✅ Result: No oracle needed. Human psychology + smart contracts = accountability.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?

SoulLedger’s unique value is turning personal growth into a self-betting, onchain game where you earn real rewards for keeping your word to yourself. Unlike any productivity app, it uses smart contracts on Base to make discipline financially rewarding, emotionally satisfying, and socially provable. The alpha doesn’t just demonstrate this — it ships it.

Who is your target customer?

Our ideal user is not just a crypto native.
They’re a "Faithful Builder" — someone deeply motivated by purpose, growth, and legacy, but struggling with consistency in a distracted world.

They are:

✍️ Creatives: Worship leaders, songwriters, speakers
📖 Spiritual Seekers: People committed to quiet time, Bible study, prayer
🚀 Self-Improvers: Students, entrepreneurs, side-hustlers
💬 Accountability Seekers: Those who thrive when they have skin in the game

Let’s break down how SoulLedger is fundamentally different.

🔍 1. StickK – The "Bet On Yourself" Pioneer
URL: stickk.com
What They Do: Let users set goals and lose money if they fail (e.g., pay a friend or anti-charity).
Strengths: Proven behavioral model, real financial stakes.
❌ How They Fall Short:
❌ Not user-owned – Data lives on their servers
❌ No rewards for winning – You only avoid losing
❌ Offchain & centralized – Trust required
❌ No composability – Can’t export or reuse data
✅ How SoulLedger Wins:
We take StickK’s brilliant idea — and make it onchain, rewarding, and owned by the user.

✅ You earn tokens & NFTs when you win (not just avoid loss)
✅ All data is on Base — yours forever
✅ Funds locked in smart contracts — no middleman
✅ Wins can be shared as NFTs on Farcaster
👉 Same psychology. Better tech. Full ownership.

🔍 2. Beeminder – Data-Driven Accountability
URL: beeminder.com
What They Do: Track goals with graphs; charge you if you fall off.
Strengths: Strong UX, integrates with Google Calendar, Fitbit, etc.
❌ How They Fall Short:
❌ Centralized platform – Shut down = you lose everything
❌ Punitive model – Focuses on fear of loss
❌ No asset creation – No NFTs, tokens, or digital legacy
✅ How SoulLedger Wins:
We reward progress instead of punishing failure — and turn growth into assets.

✅ Earn $HUS tokens and soulbound NFTs for consistency
✅ Your journey becomes an onchain resume
✅ Fully decentralized — no risk of shutdown
👉 Beeminder shows your graph. SoulLedger proves your growth.

🔍 3. Habitica – Gamified Productivity
URL: habitica.com
What They Do: Turn tasks into RPG quests. Lose HP if you skip tasks.
Strengths: Fun, engaging, great for habit formation.
❌ How They Fall Short:
❌ Fake economy – Gold and items have no real value
❌ No real stakes – Losing HP doesn’t cost you anything
❌ Data not portable – Trapped in the app
✅ How SoulLedger Wins:
We replace fake rewards with real ones — and real skin in the game.

✅ Stake real USDC — lose it if you quit
✅ Earn real ERC-20 tokens and transferable NFTs
✅ Your badges live onchain — use them anywhere
👉 Habitica gives you a sword. SoulLedger gives you equity in your growth.

🔍 4. Notion – The All-in-One Workspace
URL: notion.so
What They Do: Notes, tasks, databases, collaboration.
Strengths: Extremely flexible, widely adopted.
❌ How They Fall Short:
❌ Zero accountability – No consequences for inaction
❌ Company owns your data – Can deplatform or change terms
❌ No motivational engine – Just a blank canvas
✅ How SoulLedger Wins:
We’re not a blank slate. We’re a commitment engine.

✅ Built-in reward system and financial stakes
✅ Your data is onchain — not Notion’s
✅ Designed for behavior change, not just organization
👉 Notion helps you plan. SoulLedger helps you follow through.

🔍 5. Logbook & Zora Notes – Onchain Journaling
Logbook: logbook.to
Zora Notes: zora.co/notes
What They Do:
Let users write public notes that live onchain (via Farcaster or Zora NFTs).

Strengths:
✅ Truly onchain
✅ Great for public sharing
✅ Simple, focused
❌ How They Fall Short:
❌ No task system – Just notes
❌ No personal accountability – No stakes
❌ No private mode – Everything is public
❌ No rewards – Just expression
✅ How SoulLedger Wins:
We combine private + public, notes + tasks, reflection + action — all with rewards.

✅ Private journaling (quiet time, lyrics) + public sharing
✅ Tasks with deadlines, reminders, and staking
✅ Earn tokens for writing and doing
✅ Full 80/20 prioritization and calendar integration
👉 They help you speak. We help you become.

What is your distribution strategy and why?

🚀 SoulLedger’s Distribution Strategy: Community-First, SoulLedger’s distribution strategy is community-driven, Farcaster-native, and powered by the product itself. We reach users through decentralized social (Farcaster/Lens), grassroots faith and creative communities, and viral “Bet On Yourself” challenges that turn accountability into shareable moments. This fits our audience — purpose-driven individuals who trust peers, not ads — and leverages onchain mechanics to make growth organic, rewarding, and owned by the user. We don’t acquire users. We empower them to invite the next wave

We focus on three core channels that align with who our users are and how they already behave:

Farcaster & Lens Protocol (Decentralized Social)
Grassroots Communities (Faith, Creativity, Accountability)
Viral Product Loops (Bet On Yourself Challenges)

Strategy:
Launch on Farcaster Frames and Lens Actions to turn every win into a shareable moment.

Tactics:
Frame: “Stake $10 to post daily for 7 days”
→ One-click challenge creation → shared as a cast
Rewards Frame: “I won my bet. Claim your $HUS.”
Profile Badge: Soulbound NFTs appear in Farcaster profiles
Sybil-resistant invites: Share a challenge → both you and friend earn 5 $HUS
Why This Works:
✅ Our audience (creatives, builders) is already on Farcaster
✅ "Bet On Yourself" is inherently social — people want to prove they kept their word
✅ Frames are zero-friction — no install, no sign-up
✅ Base-sponsored ecosystem → high visibility
🎯 This turns accountability into viral content.
