The problem Solway solves

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, there were still over 400 million travelers worldwide in 2020. However, many of these travelers struggled to plan their itineraries within their budget and some even fell victim to scams. Solway aims to alleviate these issues by providing a comprehensive travel planning platform that utilizes the advanced capabilities of GPT to help users plan and book the perfect trip.

Solway offers a decentralized and efficient payment solution, allowing for fast and secure transactions, which eliminates the risks of scams. This platform covers all aspects of travel planning, from booking flights, to reserving hotel rooms, to arranging for meals. With Solway, travelers can have peace of mind knowing that all aspects of their trip have been taken care of, and that they are getting the best deals and recommendations possible.

Challenges I ran into

Building a complex project in just three days is no small feat, and I understand that the project may not be fully complete at this time. However, I assure you that I will continue to work on it even after LMNHacks. Despite facing numerous errors and bugs, I have been pushing through and dedicating countless hours to make the web app as user-friendly as possible.

Unfortunately, I was unable to deploy the project on Spheron due to technical difficulties, but I didn't give up. I decided to create a separate organization for Solway, and after several attempts, I was able to successfully deploy the project. I also decided to implement OpenAI API, but due to the limited time, I focused on the frontend and smart contract for payments.

I encountered some challenges related to Solana pay but I found a solution by using templates. It was not an easy journey but I learned a lot from it and I hope that Solway will be a great service for travelers. This project is a proof that with hard work and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle and make our dream come true.
