What happens when you combine the world's largest democratic exercise with the world's largest migrant population? The coming Indian elections are the most important factor of this democracy, but a significant number of Indian voters who will be excluded from this process are the migrants.
With over 400 million migrants, India has the world's largest migrant population. A significant number of these migrants are seasonal and temporary migrants. In fact, the key characteristic of out-migration from India is semi-permanence wherein migrants move back and forth between their home and destination regions throughout their working lives.
In the 2014 elections, there were 834 million registered voters out of which 280 million did not vote — a larger voter base than any other democracy in the world. While some chose not to vote, there were many who could not vote because they were not present in their registered constituency.
Some people move out from there native state to get better education and then they are not able to vote and not able to choose right candidate for there state.
So our project can solved these problems.
First Challenge we faced to matching the voter finger prints as aadhar api returns bio materic FMR, but we are taking voter fingerprint scanned image, So we converted scanned image into FMR code to match with aadhar api.
Next Challenge we face was to make the platform most secure one, as India future depends upon voting system, so we have used the hyper-ledger encrypted Block-chain to ensure the security of voting transactions.
This project is regarding voting so the main aim is the security so we decided to use block chain. our system is all set for normal people then other challenge we face to make it also friendly for physicaliable people and the people who are illiterate so we have made the system that anyone can use.
