Works for Everyone:
In our 2nd point we said that this caters to not just the enthusiasts but the common public. What we mean by that is that Socioverse makes it easier for a common person to know about the social work happening around them. A lot of us really want to do social work and are inspired but a lot of us never really get the chance to do so.
Ease of access:
Socioverse provides you with the openings for social work right on the home page so that you can join the cause of your liking. Want to plant trees and get more fresh air?! Check the homepage . Want to feed the poor stray animals and provide them love and care?? Well look no further than Socioverse!
Rewarding System:
This is an excellent idea to encourage one to pursue to do more social work as the time goes on whenever a person successfully completes a set of tasks for the cause he/she/they are awarded with a badge for that job. This will bring out the people who are keen collectors for such things to do more to earn more.
That Feeling of Fulfillment:
We believe that doing social work isn’t just good for the environment and the people but even good for your own health. When we do something good for someone it gives us that feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment not to mention all the cool badges and recognition one gets for their work.
Being complete beginners to web development, css posed a big challenge in the front-end development and as for the back-end development, we used flask instead of other mainstream tech stacks like node.js as we were familiar with python. One of our team members was in a different college, which led to some communication issues due to poor connectivity of the hostel wifi. It was a challenge for us to keep a track of user data, which we solved using binary files. Getting variables to work properly between back-end and front-end was a task as well. We are proud of what we've learned and implemented in the past few hours despite of all the challenges we've faced.
