SmartPath is an AI-powered solution designed to make public transport smarter, safer, and more inclusive. Today, passengers face long boarding times due to cash payments, fraudulent ticketing practices, lack of accessibility for differently-abled individuals, and almost no real-time monitoring or emergency response. Our project tackles these challenges by creating a multi-agent AI system that works collaboratively to improve the passenger and authority experience.
The Accessibility Agent provides chatbot and voice support to guide passengers, ensuring inclusivity for differently-abled users. The Payment and Fraud Agent processes Aadhaar/UPI-based digital transactions while detecting anomalies to reduce fraud. Meanwhile, the Dashboard Agent helps authorities track occupancy, payments, and system health in real time.
In critical situations, the Emergency Agent instantly notifies authorities, enhancing passenger safety. To promote sustainability, the Sustainability Agent recommends eco-friendly routes and provides insights into greener mobility options. Together, these agents form an ecosystem that reduces inefficiency and builds trust in public transportation.
For the hackathon demo, we plan to implement three working agents — Passenger Chatbot, Payment & Fraud, and Emergency — along with a simple dashboard for monitoring. The Accessibility and Sustainability agents will be presented as future roadmap features. This ensures we can showcase a working prototype while also highlighting the long-term impact of our idea.
SmartPath will lead to faster boarding, reduced fraud, better inclusivity, and more responsive emergency systems, while also supporting green transport goals. Ultimately, it empowers both passengers and authorities with AI-driven tools for safer, transparent, and efficient public mobility.
