Despite significant investments in the mutual fund market, the middle and lower classes are often overlooked. Smart Saver bridges this gap by offering data-driven analysis and predictive modeling. Utilizing parameters such as risk level, expense ratio, and historical returns, our platform identifies top-performing mutual funds. We also provide two essential tools: the 50-30-20 calculator, guiding users in allocating their salary for expenses and investments, and the SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) calculator, facilitating monthly investment planning. Built with Python for backend and HTML/CSS/JS for frontend, Smart Saver ensures a seamless user experience. Future plans include expanding services and revenue generation through subscription fees, consulting, and partnerships. With Smart Saver, we aim to democratize wealth-building opportunities and empower middle-class families to secure their financial futures.
Challenges we ran into
As we are talking about what challenges were faced while making this product, let us tell you that the biggest challenge is to have data in it, but the data set was provided from here. So that problem also ended. After this, I had another problem which was how we can convince people from normal middle class families to invest in mutual funds. Anyone can create a website and this is very easy to use and fully functional website.
