The problem Smart Dustbin solves

This smart dustbin can be used in offices and homes just by producing a specific sound, for example, a clap near it. The device will move towards you and stop within a specific range. An IR sensor is used for opening of the lid as well.

Challenges we ran into

We faced issues with the coding part specially. We tried using sound localisation,but ended up with faulty functioning. Then we started a new code with basic logics in it. Though its still facing some issues, we pretty much did till our expectations.
Further more experiments regarding this will be continued.
