The problem Smart CCTV face detector solves
Manually monitoring & analysis: Normal CCTV Relies on manual monitoring and analysis, often requiring human operators to review hours of footage Whereas this system stores the data itself.

Normal CCTV system does not store the timestamps with individual’s face but our survilliance system does.

Response Time: Requires delayed human intervention to respond to security incidents, leading to potential delays in addressing threats.
Challenges we ran into
This project is based on Python programming language. It introduces the time with detection of face and stores the data in local storage. Suppose a person comes in the vision of CCTV then it will detect person’s face, time and stores the data in local storage, when he/she was there. Face will be stored in the image format, by this way security can be improved. It can be used in companies, School, Colleges to stores the information of employes and students when they enter & exit the premises. It can also beneficial for Banks to enhance the security.

This system provides real-time alerts and notifications, enabling swift responses to security breaches and minimizing response times.

This face detection CCTV systems address the limitations of normal CCTV by automating processes, improving accuracy, enhancing identification capabilities, and providing real-time responses, ultimately elevating the overall effectiveness of surveillance and security measures.
