The problem Smart Calculator with Advanced Functions solves
This project addresses the need for a versatile and multifunctional calculator that not only performs basic and scientific calculations but also measures resistor values. This can be incredibly useful for students, hobbyists, and professionals working with electronics.
Challenges we ran into
While building this project, one specific challenge we encountered was integrating the resistor measurement system with the calculator functions. Initially, there was an issue where the display showed a fixed resistance value of around 10k ohms, regardless of the actual resistor value. We solved this by thoroughly debugging the analog reading and calculation logic, ensuring accurate voltage readings and proper conversion to resistance values.
Another hurdle was the unexpected shutdown of two columns of the keypad. This required careful inspection of the keypad wiring and configuration, eventually leading us to correct the pin assignments and improve the debounce logic.
Also ensuring that when all the modules clubbed together we needed to make sure that it work properly and we thoroughly debugged the issues and made the project working properly.
