The problem Smart Attendance Tracker solves

Present system employee attendance taking is tedious and hasslefull. Also, biometric attendance are hygenically unsound. Other systems like retina detection are costly as well as causes long queues which causes time wastage. Companies call for an immediate inovation in the feild of automated system of attendance taking which is fast, secure and can support multiple user interface. We have developed a similar system which uses face recognition technology based on convolutional neural technology. Our solution bundles up as a face recognition attendance system dual interface mobile application as well. Best part about the solution is.. it can be perfectly trained using 4-5 images of a person. And can detect faces wearing masks as well. It enables employees to just walk into the office and captures the attendance in realtime. So that they dont have to stand and wait. Our solution has many more exclusive features like Leave application, Attendace appeal in case the system encounters a mistake.

Challenges we ran into

While working on a project of this scale facing challenges of all kinds became a story of every new day. Some of them being
1.) Detecting a person who is far away from the camera - Fine tuning the upsampling rate
2.) Getting the model trained using very few images - setting the jitter count and layers properly
3.) Handling if multiple employees walkin at the same time - creating Mass face recognition algorithm
