It scans the users face through camera and once it recognizes the face it will redirect to a attendance successfully given webpage and will give the user attendance.
The problem Smart Attendance System solves
It allows for a better and much more optimal way of recording attendance so that the students will be able to know if they have shortage or sufficient attendance. It is a modern solution to the current attendance recording system.
Challenges we ran into
While using many libraries the main problem we faced was jinja not working according to our desire as it was the one thing that allowed us to connect our backend and front end but in the end we were forced to improvise.Another challenge was the storage of the attendance values in the database.
