Our main goal of this project is to use deep learning and computer vision to detect accidents on dashcam and cctv cameras and report it to nearby emergency services with valid accident images.
The problem Smart and safe roads solves
In india most of the road accident victims die due to late or sometimes no treatment, Our project can solve this problem by creating a monitoring and detection system that can detect acciedents using camera footage of cctv and car dash cam and then alert authorities with their location date time and photo, thus playing important role in saving lifes
Challenges we ran into
Limited hardware resorces like GPU's.
Creating neural network for classification
realtime updates on website
