Profile Score Calculator: The platform calculates a comprehensive profile score based on users' skills, certifications, and experience. This score helps both candidates and employers.
Certificates & Badges: Upon completing assessments, users receive verified certificates and badges to showcase their skills, making their profiles more appealing to potential employers.
Resume Wizard: The integrated resume builder simplifies the process of creating professional resumes by automatically pulling data from users' profiles, skills, and achievements, ensuring up-to-date and relevant resumes.
Job Recommendation: The platform uses advanced algorithms to recommend personalized job opportunities based on the users’ profile scores, skills, and career interests, reducing the effort required to find the right match.
Challenges we ran into
One of the major challenges we faced during the development of our project was finding a comprehensive and reliable dataset. Since our platform involves skill assessments, profile scoring, and job recommendations, we required datasets that accurately reflected real-world job requirements, skills, and candidate profiles. However, most publicly available datasets were either outdated, incomplete, or not specific enough to meet the needs of our system.
So, We came up with the solution to scrape the Indian job market data.
