Challenges I ran into
Developing our AI Career Mentor came with several challenges. LinkedIn scraping was complex due to data privacy policies and access limitations. Ensuring data quality and integration from LinkedIn, GitHub, and coding platforms required handling inconsistencies. Career path prediction accuracy was challenging, needing precise AI models to match skills with industry roles. Benchmarking user profiles against top professionals demanded reliable industry standards. Personalized recommendations had to be dynamic and relevant to each user. Lastly, resume and profile scoring required a fair, unbiased algorithm. Overcoming these hurdles helped us create an effective, insightful career guidance system for students and professionals.
