SignWave: Bridging Communication with Every Gesture-creating connections through sign language!
The problem Signwave solves
SignWave aims to break communication barriers faced by the Deaf community by providing an accessible platform to learn Indian Sign Language. It empowers users, both hearing and non-hearing, to bridge the gap and promote inclusivity through seamless, interactive learning.
Challenges we ran into
Though we couldn't complete our project but we learned a lot during this whole process of 36 hours. These are some of the problems we faced.
Oversensitivity of open CV.
Limited Coding Experience: Being beginners in coding, we faced challenges in implementing complex functionalities and creating an intuitive UI.
Design Optimization
Resource Constraints: Finding and integrating high-quality, relevant resources for Indian Sign Language, especially images and videos, was more time-consuming than anticipated.
These hurdles, though tough, helped us grow and learn a lot of new things.
