The problem Sign Language Recognition System solves

This project caters to the audience who rely on sign language for communication. It will help bridge the communication gap caused due to lack of knowledge about sign language. The recognition system will be the interface which translates the signs made to English text for effective understanding.

Challenges we ran into

A prominent challenge was efficient training of the model within the time limit. To overcome the issue, we had to reduce the number of signs we could translate. This helped us achieve a low fidelity model successfully.
