The problem Sign Language Detector solves

  • Solved UN SDG: Reduced Inequalities (UN SDG #10):
    Reduces inequalities among those who have hearing disabilities and those who do not by giving a medium of translation of sign language
  • Need of a medium of sign language was extremely important due to the very high prices of hearing aids.
  • Hearing aids are also not available in all developing and underdeveloped countries so sign language is the only way for the deaf to communicate.
