The problem SidesNFT solves
The project introduces the Adaptive Collection standard. Adaptive collections allow to work with a dynamic supply of assets and dynamic rarity distribution, which can both evolve over time based on users' interactions and preferences. It allows to create gamified and interactive experiences where users can combine their assets to originate rarer ones, or transform them into a higher quantity of more common ones. The evolution rules encourage users (or players) to connect with each other and possibly join efforts (also within different teams, in treasure hunt like games) in order to acquire more valuable assets, that may lead to IRL rewards. The smart contract is general enough to allow anyone to create their own adaptive collection with the parameters and evolution logic of their choice, be it for artistic of playful/gaming purposes.
Challenges I ran into
Writing the smart contract in the most clear and generic way, trying to make it as easy as possible for game/art creators to deploy their own versions by only modifying a few initialization parameters.
