The problem Shuttle solves

In India there is a large amount of traffic and pollution on the roads just because the people do not want to shift to public transport and rather prefer personal vehicles. Let's take the example of cities like Banglore and Delhi the people are suffering a lot due to the traffic and the pollution issues. But what what alternatives do they have, the current public transport system especially the buses(which is primary medium of public transport in most of states in our country) are too poorly connected and managed and people face the issues like overcrowding, molestaion, theft, overspeeding and rash driving by the drivers and the list goes on and on. So, with Shuttle we wish to collaborate with the administration and make the public transport(more specefically public buses) more safer and convenient for the commuters. We will keep the ticketing system centralised and transparent(by using the aadahar numbr of the passenger because everyone has aadhar card in our country). With this the administration can keep a check on the malicious/suspecious people and thus capturing the culprit of cases like molestatio or theft would be much easier.
We also take care of the overspeeding and the overcrowding problem as in case the bus carries people more than the allowed weight in the bus a notificatio will be sent to the central server and thus the driver/conductor of that bus can be penalized accordingly. Same is done if the bus overspeeds frequently.
We will also have a hardware and software SOS buttons in the bus which could pe pressed in the case of emergency and a notification will be sent to the nearest police station and hospital with the live location of the bus. This would be helpful in case of accidents. This is how we try to make public transport safer and more convinient for the passengers.

Challenges we ran into

• Google Maps API Integration - We were new to google maps API so we're facing a bit of issue in integrating them for bus routes and locations right now
• Flutter - Flutter is the technology we're trying for our app since its so much in trend now. We're JS guys and definility shiflting to dart was a bit throublesome but was very interesting.
