Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project

Shroomy stands out as a Telegram-native mining bot with a user-friendly and gamified experience. Unlike traditional mining dashboards, it is fully designed for seamless interaction within Telegram, making crypto mining accessible without extra apps. The design features interactive mining progress tracking, instant reward notifications, and a streamlined wallet connection flow. Compared to similar projects, Shroomy improves on user engagement, simplicity, and mobile-first accessibility while ensuring fraud detection and anti-bot mechanisms in the design.

Trade-offs and shortcuts while building

Since Shroomy is a Figma design, the focus was on UI/UX clarity over backend complexity. Instead of implementing real-time blockchain interactions, the design simulates transactions to illustrate the user flow. Some design shortcuts include predefined wallet connection states instead of handling errors dynamically and static mining progress screens rather than real-time updates. Future improvements could include interactive prototypes with micro-interactions and better visualization of fraud detection processes.

Additional Features

Shroomy was designed specifically for the ETHSF hackathon, meaning all features were built within the event timeline. However, during the process, additional UX enhancements were added, such as a gamified mining progress tracker, referral-based reward visualization, and an anti-fraud alert system in the UI. These features enhance user engagement and security, making the bot more interactive and reliable.
