The problem Shopicom solves
Void of a platform for local businesses to go digital.
In this era of digitalization, and especially due to COVID-19, many small businesses and start up are willing to go digital to scale their business efficiently.
Hence, we are in need of a platform where even local shops any kinds of business can register themselves and go earn that digital money.
The platform we are introducing is named as
“SHOPICOM”
Challenges we ran into
1)Making our software / web app economically viable
Considering the fact that our target customers are new startups and new businesses which mostly won’t be capable enough to pay huge charges to get digital even though they get convinced about its benefits,
We cannot keep our service overpriced, however this project can be made successful on economic front by increasing its scale i.e. by taking more and more entrepreneurs on board in this digital transformation.
Later on we might focus on commercial profitability by charging these businesses on the customers that they add through our software and for feature-specific plans.
2)Building our solution across various operating systems.
Developing this service for all OS platforms commonly used was a challenge, however we tackled it with a simple solution, we will develop a single web app and then will mirror it across all platforms.
