Challenges we ran into
While building the community forum feature for our project, we encountered a specific bug related to connecting it with the database. Initially, despite implementing the necessary code, the forum was not functioning as expected. This issue perplexed us as we couldn't pinpoint the exact cause.
To overcome this hurdle, we turned to online resources and documentation to understand why the forum wasn't working as intended. Through research, we discovered that we had overlooked including the forum's SQL file in the project folder. This omission prevented the forum from accessing the required database tables and data.
Once we identified the root cause, we promptly added the forum's SQL file to the project directory. This simple but crucial step resolved the connectivity issue, allowing the forum feature to function seamlessly.
Throughout the development process, we encountered various other challenges related to backend integration and functionality. However, by maintaining open communication within our team and leveraging each other's expertise, we successfully addressed and resolved all the issues that arose. This collaborative approach enabled us to overcome obstacles effectively and ensure the project's smooth progression.
